JEE Main 2020 Syllabus

JEE Main 2020 Syllabus: National Testing Agency holds the responsibility for conducting JEE Main 2020 examination twice in a year. When appearing for the exam, candidates must be fully prepared in order to score well and preparation will be good only when candidates prepare according to the prescribed JEE Main 2020 Syllabus. JEE Main examination consists of 2 papers. Paper 1 is conducted for B.Tech course and Paper 2 is conducted for B. Arch course. The syllabus of Paper 1 covers subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics while syllabus of Paper 2 covers the following subjects: Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing. The syllabus of JEE Main 2020 will be of class 11th and 12th level.

JEE Main 2020 Exam Pattern

Appearing candidates along with the JEE Main 2020 syllabus must be aware of the exam pattern. Through the JEE Main 2020 exam pattern candidates get a rough idea about the exam particulars. NTA has the power to decide every single thing related to the exam and thus the exam pattern for the year 2020 is expected to be as prescribed below:

The exam will be conducted via online mode only

There will be objective type questions

JEE Main 2020 will be conducted for 3 hours in two shifts (Shift 1- 9:30 am to 12:30 pm ad Shift 2 – 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm)

The question paper will be in the English language

The total number of attempts given to the candidates are 2

There will be a total of 90 questions

Paper 1 will be divided into 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics whereas Paper 2 will contain the following sections: Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing.

The exam will be of a total of 360 marks.

For each correct answer, 4 marks are awarded and for each incorrect answer 1 mark is deducted
