Review of Violet Evergarden Anime

The desire to write interesting stories was present even in the virginity of the wife of Professor Orlando. The woman had a rich imagination, and each world invented was described to the smallest detail. She travels with her husband a lot to draw new emotions and knowledge, but one case deprived her of the opportunity to do her favorite thing. The writer lost her sight, and was depressed for a long time. For a long time to see such a state of his wife, Orlando could not and began to invent an amazing robot that can record his master's speech. Soon the work of the professor was finished, and the result surprised not only his wife, but all the inhabitants of the country.

The main character of the anime is a girl with a beautiful name Violet. Abandoned by all she knew nothing about the world in which she lived. This lasted until it was “presented” as a weapon to one major, who accepted it, raised it and made sense to live. Unfortunately there was a war and Violet had to participate in it. Following the orders of a major, she killed hundreds of people.

Fate turned out that the girl lost both hands in this war, but she lost something more important. When she awoke, she first asked about the major, but she did not have the opportunity to see him. The last words he said to her were “I love you.” From this moment begins the main line of the plot. Violet is trying to find the major and understand the meaning of these words, to understand what “love” is. Her search leads to the fact that she gets a job as an auto-remembering doll, the meaning of her work is to write letters. But not just to write letters, you need to put in this letter all the feelings that the customer wanted to convey. But Violet has some problems with the expression of emotions, this is where the difficulties begin.

All my life, Violet did nothing but obeyed orders, but then the burden of freedom falls on her, what can she do with this freedom. How would she learn to make decisions on her own? All but the major called her an instrument whose only purpose was war.

This story is not about writing letters, it is a story about feelings. Do we often tell our loved ones about our feelings? This anime shows how important it may be to say, or in this case - to write at least a couple of words.

Separately, I would like to highlight the graphics in this anime, its quality is simply amazing, this is the best graphics in the anime that I could see. Although I am not the person who prefers the quality of the picture, this anime deserves praise. The musical accompaniment in this title is also elegant, it perfectly conveys the atmosphere of that time. In tense moments, it is precisely the well-chosen music that “breaks through” into tears. I advise everyone to take the time for this title.
