Skiing in Pakistan:

Pakistan offers incredible skiing spots with stunning scenic views which you may not be aware with. There are a number of skiing destinations in Northern areas of Pakistan like Burzil, Astore, Naltar in Gilgit, Ratu, and Malam Jabba. Malam Jabba is one of the best skiing spots in Pakistan with an incredible view, lakes, snow powder, and slopes.

Malam Jabba:

Malam Jabba is situated at 300 kilometers from Islamabad. If you want to go by road, it would not take more than six hours to reach there. If you wish to go by air, you can take a flight from Islamabad to get to Saidu Sharif, which is approximately 45 kilometers far from Malam Jabba.

The skiing resort of Mallam Jabba is located in the valley of Swat. You will surely enjoy the hospitality and love of the people living there. Tourists are protected by the army of Pakistan these days so there is no risk of security.  

Nalter and Nathiagali:

These two places are renowned skiing destinations in Pakistan providing incredible beauty and calmness. Nalter is the oldest skiing destination in Pakistan, but before going there you may be required to take permission from Pakistan Air Force as it belongs to the Pakistani Air Force. Nathiagali is at the height of about 8000, and an excellent infrastructure and accommodation is available here.

So, if you are looking to spend your holidays in mountains to enjoy skiing, and in the wish to see GOD’s natural beauty, Pakistan can be considered as one of the best destinations.



Skiing Adventure in India:       

Skiing is one of the most wanted and adventurous winter sports in India. India is getting a lot of skiers from all over the world due to its incredible mountains and slopes, especially in Himalayas. Moreover, the skiing locales in Kumaon, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir have become the most wanted and favorite skiing destinations by skiers.

Skiing in Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir:

Gulmerg is the best skiing resort for beginners. You don’t need any typical clothes that are normally used in skiing; you can wear ordinary clothes like jeans, trouser in Gulmerg. You will find many shops here for your ease to buy or hire skis, goggles, and sticks. If you are a beginner, it is better to take services of a ski instructor. You don’t have any need to climb up the slopes as the slope of 200m has been linked with a ski lift for your help to climb up. Once you become an intermediate skier, you can try steeper and longer slopes which are connected by chair lifts.

Skiing in Dayara Bugyal, Garhwal:

There are exceptional ski slopes in Dayara Bugyal covering an area of 28 square kilometers. Most importantly there is a breathtaking small lake in Bugyal which provides a great opportunity for camping.

Skiing in Munsiyari, Kumaon:

Munsiyari is located at a distance of 127 kilometers from Pithoragarh and 66 kilometers from Jauljibi. “Betulidhar” and “Khalia Top” are the most famous skiing spots here.
