Nintendo Switch New Console Release To Be Further Delayed!

Posted by Aida Martin on April 19th, 2019

It’s been about two years since the launch of Nintendo Switch, and every gaming enthusiast quite expects that after the 2017 Switch device a new model for it would be coming soon.

Many gaming experts have been keen as to what improvements can a new model of Nintendo Switch offer and how is the Nintendo brand planning to sustain in the gaming market for the upcoming years.

As per the recent post in the Wall Street Journal hinted towards the development of two new Nintendo Switch devices namely Nintendo Switch Pro and Nintendo Switch Lite which would allow users to choose from the range of  Switch products according to their need and budget.

The Nintendo Switch Lite would be a budget gaming console which would support all the switch applications, but with some shortage in specs and on the other hand, the Nintendo Switch Pro would avail its users with ultra high graphics and possible compatibility with smart televisions.

As per the report published in the Wall Street Journal, Nintendo is supposedly planning to introduce its new series of devices Nintendo Lite and Pro in the upcoming E3 2019, but further leaks are pinpointing at an absolutely different direction.

Another report is leaked from a Japanese based business journal namely Nikkei who published an article suggesting a different outreach on the floating speculations. An USgamer managed to translate the posted article of the Nikkei which stated that two new models for the switch are under development which is based on next-gen technology and are split amongst two categories.

One of the said models is a bit cheap and avails less portable features with comparably less power backup. On the other hand, the second device is instead much more versatile and is possibly a hybrid version to the existing Nintendo Switch.

But one information stated in this article pinpointed that the release date for these underdevelopment consoles is supposedly fixed for the fall of 2019.

The report published by Nikkei also hinted that the Nintendo Switch Lite model would also feature an exclusive feature which would avail its users the luxury of connecting their Switch consoles with their television.

Clearly, as per Nikkei, Nintendo fans would not be able to witness the new Switch consoles in the upcoming E3 2019 event which is hugely disappointing Nintendo Switch fans around the world. But considering the fact that Sony and Microsoft both are set to unveil their high-end next-gen gaming consoles PS5 and Xbox respectively.

Clearly, Nintendo Switch would not risk competing against the two tech giants and instead, look for a suitable time to make its move to launch its new products to avail maximum gain. Let’s see what marketing strategy is the Nintendo Switch formulating for its upcoming products and how would it attract the gaming community in competition with two massive rivals.
