Freshaz’ lemonade envisions being the provider of home made lemonade with the Hawaii region and beyond. The name freshaz’ is carved from the word “fresh” which indicates the commitment of the company to offer freshly made lemonade. The lemonade will be prepared instantly from freshly picked fruits. The second distinguishing characteristics of the lemonade is the onsite preparation, and customers will have a chance to observe the preparation procedures. The name of the start-up business is vital. It gives customers an idea what the business is offering. Wrong branding of a company may make it hard for customers to find the start-up business or what it is offering. A brand is a form of a promise to the clients. Naming the company Freshaz’ enables the entrepreneur expresses the business commitment to offer lemonade and snacks that area freshly prepared on site. The inclusion of the apostrophe is aimed to impress non-English speakers while reaching out to the English speakers.

Freshaz' activities will be rely on its commitment to offer fresh juice (freshness), prepared on site and custom-tailored (transparency) and high quality lemonade that is committed to the heart and mind of the clients.

Bovee and Thill (2013; 77) note that in order to encourage ethical behaviors and promote a mutual relationship between an organization and the society, it is essential to establish expectations about how the business should conduct itself. The company will adopt a proactive CSR approach by participating in conservation efforts of the community. The greatest threat that faces the Hawaii community is the destruction of the environment and possible pollution of the beach. As a result,, the company will partner with other stakeholders to initiate environment activities.

Pricing strategy

Freshaz’ Lemonade will use penetration pricing strategy. According to Bovee and Thill (2013; p 33), penetration pricing strategy aims at building sales by charging a low initial price. The low pricing strategy is in tandem with cost leadership strategy of achieving competitive advantage. It is important for a startup company because it helps it to penetrate the market. The low pricing strategy will discourage competition. Once the company establishes a market niche, the prices will be adjusted to meet the market forces. Globalization, emergence of multinationals and the internet have created a global market for most businesses. Freshaz lemonade seeks to exploit this market by expanding its operations in the future. However, the process needs to be gradual as the company will need to establish the necessary production plan and establish its technology capability.
