Other then that, game worked well, I had no problems using servers, no lag, no crashes along with very few bugs. So no, Bethesda is quite fine, they're nowhere near"being destroyed" nonsense and such. Their"monetization attempts" in The Elder Scrolls Blades Gold mobile games aren't nothing new neither devised by these, these things are as old as mobile games are. And here is especially shocking news - ALL games created by ALL companies are created to GET MONEY. Not a single game provider makes these games to make players happy. They invest thousands of millions into developing those matches, so that they can earn back tens of thousands or hundreds of times more cash, at the least. They create games to make money, nothing else. All developments and additional services to The Elder Scrolls Bladess are made for one reason only - to make more cash.
Unfortunately there are millions of over 30 year old brainless idiots playing Candy Crush and titles such as this and paying cash. These aren't players, and cellular games are not made for gamers. You have to understand that. No one produces a cellular game for players. It is bad enough telephone companies took out removable batteries. I just use my phone to call/text and GPS, why do I need to waste my battery on games??
These signature based cellular games have always been weird. They look good but play badly. The touch interface is among the worst ways to play an action game possible. Most The Elder Scrolls Bladess end up playing like some bad VR game, in where you vaguely swipe at stuff with the movement sensors while being on rails. Simply place I'd rather play older RPG's. Turn based games only work WAY better using such a buy The Elder Scrolls Blades Items limited interface.I'm FAR more forgiving than Az when it comes to the present day freemium mobile formula. There are games that have timers, are clearly pay to acquire and utilize loot boxes which are still GREAT free of charge players. This appears to be selling itself graphics more than anything else.
