ROSS ISLANDS

This island has a colonial past, a place from where the British governed the entire Andaman and Nicobar islands prior to independence. At present it is known only for its stunning beauty. It is incredible that this deserted island was once the seat for British power and housed everything from bakery, church, tennis court, printing press, and cemetery and so on. It is amazing to walk around this island as it is home to variety of flora and fauna. CHATHAM ISLAND

The Chatham saw mill was set up in 1833.this saw mill holds the record of Asia’s oldest and largest saw mill with an extraordinary beauty. You cannot afford to miss the bomb pit. The Japanese attacked and bombarded the mill during World War 2, and formed the pit.
