Worlds Smallest Person

Being the smallest person in the world and reaching heights is not serene. CHANDRA BAHADUR DANGI was titled with smallest person in the world by Guinness book of world records. He was born on 30thNovember in 1939 and was raised in Reemkholi village in the Dang district which is present in NEPAL. Dangi was 72 years old when he was awarded this title in year 2012, Earlier this record was titled to a Filipino boy JUNREY BALAWING.

Dangi was born healthy but later got diagnosed with Primordial Dwarfism it’s a condition under which physical growth ceases and initial development stage gets delayed, Dangi’s growth stopped when he was just 1 feet 9.5 inches tall and its weight remained around 31 pounds for his entire life

He lead a very simple and ordinary life before he came to known as the world’s smallest person, Dangi was first noticed by a Timber Wood Contractor while he was visiting the mountainous regions of the Reemkholi village out of his curiosity and obsession he spread the story to media and tracked anew path into the life of aworld’s smallest person. The Guinness World Record team approached him in 2012 and found that Chandra BahadurDangi deserves the title of the world’s smallest person.

Earlier Dangi was living a very ordinary lifestyle but the title of Smallest  Person In The worldchanged his life his eagerness to travel around the world was fulfilled by the GWR and he travelled many countries worldwide

In year 2012 hemet JyotiAmge the worlds shortest girl alive and posed for the Guinness world record books 57th edition. In November 2014  at London Dangi met world’s tallest man Sultan Kosen 8 feet 3 inches tall they both also posed for The Guinness World Records Day celebration picture. Just after meeting with Dangi Sultan gave his interview to Telegraph and where he said, “I looked into Dangi’s eyes and found out that he is a nice man with a kind heart.” and on the same hand Dangi stated that,
“I am honored to visit London and meeting Sultan makes it even more special. I am very happy as I represent my country Nepal for this title and I am humbled by the support I am getting from the team.”

In 2015 Chandra BahadurDangithe world’s smallest person bid adieu to this world. He died of Pneumonia on 3rdSeptember 2015 after being admitted to Lyndon B. Johnson Tropical Medical Center for 10 days, his condition worsen at American Samoa, who knew it will be his final visit. On his death Guinness Book of World Records paid their heartfelt condolences to the family members of ChandraBaduraDangi. His body was taken back to Nepal for his last rites by his family members

After the the death of the world’s smallest man Chandra BaduraDangi the title of the world’s smallest person alive was driven back to Junrey Balawing

Dangi will always be remembered for his extraordinary and iconic records he holds.
