5. Chapora Fort

This place offers a fantastic panoramic view of Chapora river and Arabian sea. Chapora Fort is a historic Goa tourist place because many rulers, including Akbar, has stayed in this place and contributed to its rich culture. This beautiful architectural structure stands tall at Bardez region since 1717, and now, you can find the ruins of this magnificent and strategically located fort.

6. Basilica of Bom Jesus

This region was the capital of Goa during the early days of Portuguese rule. The church, located in northern part of the state, and the churches, are the part of UNESCO world heritage site. The basilica is the place where the mortal remains of St. Xavier rests. It is one of the first church in the country and is a well-known tourist space for people around the world.
