2.CAUSE REMAINS UNKNOWN
Parents often ask doctors about the cause of the condition. But in majority of the cases the cause remain unknown. Parents often feel that heavy bagpacks or improper body posture could be a reason. However, there is no recorded evidence of a reason that causes spine to form a curve.

Surprisingly, scoliosis side effets in long term is a highly manageable condition. About 30% of patients require treatments like Harrington rods spine, braces and a small fraction of nearly 10% needs surgery. For a growing child, braces could help in preventing the deeper and bigger curvature. The best thing is that the child can have a normal life with braces on.

5.NON INVASIVE HAVE SHOWN BETTER RESULTS OVER SURGERY
Although many doctors prefer surgery for scoliosis long term effects, but non invasive treatments have reported better results over surgery. The decision of going under the knife could be traumatic for the child and parent alike. To avoid any post surgical complications, choosing therapies and exercises are a better way to deal with the conditions. However, if the case is too severe like the curvature is near or almost 150 degree, surgery is the last resort.
