When to visit?

From October to April is the most suitable time for visiting Northeast India. Other times of the year, the weather remains a bit harsh and unpredictable for planning a holiday trip. If you are planning to visit higher parts of the Himalayan Region like Tawang, then skip the winter season because the temperature drops to minus. Phone networks and 4G services are weak and most of the time they are unavailable. During your Northeast India trip, be prepared to be offline frequently.
