LIGHT SHOW AT CELLULAR JAIL

The light and the sound show at the world’s cruellest and darkest jail is inspirational and patriotic, chronicling the history of the freedom fighters. You must watch the mesmerising light and sound show here, narrating the hair rising saga of Indian freedom struggle and the brutal tortures they had to undergo, to gift us a free, democratic India. The most active freedom fighters were arrested and sent to this jail and had to go through rigorous punishment.

NATURAL BRIDGE AT NEIL ISLAND

This phenomenal bridge connects land to sea (in high tide) and also to the land in (in low tide). This is a natural bridge formed by the rocks. This arch of land that connects to its two bases five meter apart. The passage below the gives it a look of a bridge, hence it is called the natural bridge. If you take a look from the top you will be amazed by the artistic creation of nature.

CHATHAM ISLAND

The Chatham saw mill was set up in 1833.this saw mill holds the record of Asia’s oldest and largest saw mill with an extraordinary beauty. You cannot afford to miss the bomb pit. The Japanese attacked and bombarded the mill during World War 2, and formed the pit.

BARREN ISLAND AND A TOUR OF THE ISLAND IN A HELICOPTER

This uninhabited island is the only active volcano in South Asia. With the most recent volcanic erupt ion Barren Island is a sight to behold even when it is not exploding. Divers here dive in to enjoy the sight of reef fish, turtles, black tip; manta rays etc.The view of the orange lake from the helicopter inside the active volcano from the top is a revelation and a rare spectacle of Andaman Tourism.

THE LIME STONE CAVES AT BARTANG ISLAND

At Bartang Island you can see the Mud Volcano 4 km away from the boat jetty. The boat ride to the lime stone caves is magnificent. It passes through a narrow mangrove creek which is an experience of a life time. The massive alluvial formations inside the caves are constantly evolving in shape and size, forming different patterns.
