Islam – A Religion of Peace and Prosperity

There is always a debate going on Islam and its followers. The Muslims around the world are looked with pity or hatred assuming that they might have connections with the terrorists. However, this is not at all. Most of the Muslims in the world are peace loving people. It might be just a minor fraction of this community who are misguided by the terrorists. Islam is a beautiful religion and one needs to learn its concepts to know the religion in detail.

Muslims will not harm you in any way and they are as peace-loving as you are. This article aims to help the reader understand the difference between the majority of the peace-loving Muslims and the very few violent minorities. This difference was always there even during the region of Prophet Mohammed. There was a bunch of people who never followed him with heart and tried to dupe the other Islam followers. We need to understand that some things are rooted in human nature rather than just religion.

We all love our live and we wish to stay peacefully without being molested by others. However, religion play a very important role in our lives. Due to the religion taught to us since our childhood, we think differently but largely, we are brought up with a disposition of peace in our minds. We are not always looking to fight. In fact, we have been taught that we should avoid fighting with others as much as we can. You can check it yourself, compare two groups, one with religious roots and one without it, you will find that people who are always ready to fight are the minority.

Thus, same ways Muslims can be assumed to be peace loving people. There might be some who are always ready to fight but trust me, even they were once taught to avoid fights in public as much as they can. Look at the meanings here, Islam means peace, it means submission and Muslim means the one who has submitted. Submission means submission to Allah, submission to the prophet who has founded this religion. A Muslim submits to the philosophies scripted in the Quran. If they submit, they are the true believer of Islam and if they do not, they are termed as non-believer. Submission is the core virtue of Islam.
