Conference detail:

Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel, a renowned organic chemist at the University of Houston visited Biochempeg’s Chinese facility-- Huateng Pharmaceuticals for an exchange visit on May 11th. During this visit, Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel and Huateng Pharmaceutical have conducted in-depth discussions and cooperation and brought a wonderful academic report. It is reported that Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel will serve as a special technical expert consultant of Huateng Pharmaceutical to provide technical support and scientific guidance for the company in the future, and help Huateng Pharmaceuticals sail on the road of independent innovation.

Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel made a special visit and exchanges. Mr. Deng Zeping, Chairman of Huateng Pharmaceuticals, and the company’s leadership received warm reception. Chairman Deng Zeping accompanied Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel to visit Huateng Pharmaceutical and visited the Digital Exhibition Hall of the High-tech Zone Management Committee with the support of the leaders of the Changsha High-tech Zone. Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel warmly praised the efforts and efforts made by Huateng Pharmaceuticals on the road to innovation in the industry, and expressed his determination and expectations for cooperation with Huateng Pharmaceutical. Chairman Deng Zeping stated that Huateng Pharmaceuticals is assisted by such leading figures as Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel. The company’s R&D capability and level of innovation will surely be greatly improved. It will also attract more outstanding talents and gradually make the company Become a new research academic highland in the industry.

On the morning of May 14th, Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel brought a topical academic report to Huateng Pharmaceutical. The academic report was chaired by Deng Zeping, the chairman of Huateng Pharmaceuticals. The report was packed with lively atmosphere. This academic report will focus on "The Design of Metal-Based Polypyridine Catalysts for Artificial Photosynthesis". In the report, Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel took his R&D achievements as an example to focus on his research process and R&D achievements in the field of artificial photosynthesis of polypyridyl metal complex catalysts for a long time. Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel successfully used the pyridine complex of transition metal (Ru) and other metals (Co, Fe) as electron donors in the development process to realize the photoinduced electron transfer process and then the photocatalytic activity of water. The decomposition into hydrogen and oxygen shows high catalytic activity.

Huateng Pharma had the honour to invite Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel to discuss cooperation with a view to further enhancing the company's scientific research capabilities and innovation capabilities. We believe that with the supporting of Prof. Randolph Paul Thummel, the company's technological level and innovative strength will surely be able to get more levels of development and improvement.
