World of Warships Condenses the Naval Combat

To celebrate the launch, players are invited to take part in a Vampire Marathon running from now until December 20, in which time they can win the HMAS Vampire by playing just five battles (excluding training missions). After December 20, the ship will be available for purchase. These destroyers fight for queen and country and have some advantages up their sleeves which can surprise seafaring rivals and find a way out of almost any situation: the tube-by-tube torpedo launching system (which unites them with their national cruisers), a unique smoke screen as well as Hydroacoustic Search and Repair Party consumables at high tiers.

While the game on Steam uses all the same servers as the standard release, your existing Wargaming account won't carry over to Valves platform at least not officially. There are workarounds to force the Steam version to login as normal, but that's not intended functionality, and you're likely to run into some serious issues as continued updates get pushed out. If you're a new player, or you don't mind starting your progress all over in favor of some Valve-specific accoutrements, the Steam version will support achievements and all that good stuff.

In order to attract some fresh blood while they're at it, Wargaming say that all modernizations have been removed, except for one. With Destroyers, it's concealment; German battleships received improved secondary armaments, etc. It took serious elbow grease here, with the devs only getting two months to get everything ready. Seeing as how it normally takes three to six months to create one ship, it's really no wonder. There's a new mechanic in PvP battles in the for of two space weather effects namely, psy fields and meteor shower. The former affects individual ships' abilities for spotting, their detectability, repairing and more. Meteor showers, on the other hand, affect squadrons, their radius and even destroys an air plane very 15 seconds.

These ships boast powerful artillery, unrivalled maneuverability, and tactical versatility. They're speedy all-rounders that are most deadly at range. That speed is only bolstered by a new engine boost consumable, for when you really need to get ahead. They're not just fast either. Their anti-torpedo bulkheads can take a pounding, and when they are forced to go in close, they can respond with their own volley of torps. If you are you looking for more about WoWS Doubloons for Sale check out our website.

The event is skewed heavily towards players using the official Japanese High School Fleet Harekaze, the ship so heavily featured in the anime series itself. Not only does captaining it increase the rate at which you earn HSF-related rewards, but the ship has been blessed with a variety of unique camo skins, including the absurd cat-mouflage seen above, which I'd imagine will make you the biggest, juiciest target on the seven seas. Players need to opt in to receive missions related to this event, and will find themselves rewarded for consistently good play above Tier 5 with various High School Fleet themed goodies, including character portraits, flags from the anime and commander characters, voiced by their original Japanese cast.
