Choosing the Right New Office Chairs in San Francisco

When ordering new office chairs, you are under a lot of pressure. You need to find a chair that fits everyone well, and stay under budget. This is not as difficult as it may seem! Simply follow a few rules and everyone in the office will love their new chairs. #1 Adjustable seat height. You can’t have someone crouched down or barely seeing over their desk!Office chair seat height should be easily adjustable. The lumbar spine has an inward curve, and sitting for long periods without support for this curve tends to lead to slouching. This flattens the natural curve and strains the structures in the lower spine. An ergonomic chair should have a lumbar adjustment, in both the height and depth, so everyone who works for you is able to get the proper fit to support the inward curve of their lower back.
#3 The right seat width and depth. The seat should have enough width and depth to support any person comfortably. Between 17 and 20 inches wide is typically the standard. The depth, from front to back of the seat, needs to be enough so that the user can sit with his or her back against the backrest. At the same time, there should be between two and four inches between the back of the knees and the seat of the chair.
#4 Backrest. Unless you specifically need stools, the chairs you order should always have a backrest. It should be 12 to 19 inches wide. It should be able to support the natural curve of the spine, offering proper support of the lumbar region. The backrest should be adjustable in forward and back angles, with a locking mechanism to secure it from going too far backward and forcing them to stretch their arms forward to reach.
#5 Quality seat material. We’ve already established the size and shape the chairs should be, but we are not done quite yet. The material on the office chair seat and back should have enough padding to be comfortable to sit on for extended periods of time. Having either a cloth fabric that breathes or genuine leather is preferable to a harder, plastic surface.
