Gynecomastia is the medical term for man boobs, or chest in men that are oversized. Man boobs can be caused from fats built up and accumulating in the breasts. The common result is that the muscle tissues develops abnormally causing the man’s breast to look like a woman’s breast instead of being flat. This condition usually starts during puberty, begins at the base of the nipple as a tiny lump, but then later turns into abnormally sized areolas. Gynecomastia can also be caused when men produce estrogen in abnormal levels. Estrogen is a hormone that women produce.

Exercise, especially cardiovascular, is the best way to get rid of man boobs. These exercises will remove the fat slowly and get rid of the man boobs, along with fat in other places. Not only will exercising help you lose the man boobs, but will also improve your overall health.

  1. Walking - Walking is a good way to remove fats from our bodies. You don’t have to walk at a fast walk, you can alternate your speed. Just remember that walking is time for you to get out, enjoy the scenery and have some quiet time to yourself or listen to your favourite tunes while walking.
  2. Jogging - Jogging offers lots of benefits in addition to reducing your chest. It is a more strenuous exercise, so you will burn calories and fat. It also can improve your heart rate and breathing.
  3. Swimming - Swimming is an exercise that moves every part of your body, getting you fit. To reduce man boobs, the best stroke to use is the breast stroke.
  4. Elliptical - Focusing on your chest while using the elliptical, you should raise your arms and turn them in circles. This will give your chest the most exercise. You can do this while watching your favourite program on television. Or turn on your favourite music and get moving to the beat.

By using these exercises, you can slowly reduce and get rid of your man boobs. These will also help you remove fat in other parts of your body too. Exercise is always a good thing and you will benefit in other ways too. Exercise can reduce stress, improve your overall health and reduce fat all over your body.
