Gadchiroli Maoist attack: 15 jawans killed in IED blast, Maharashtra DGP says no

An aggregate of 15 security staff have been killed in an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) impact did by Naxals in Gadchiroli zone of Maharashtra on Wednesday. The impact was executed by Naxals on a police vehicle, which was conveying 16 security work force, announced ANI. The blast near Gadchirli's Jambhumpada village took place hours after Maoists torched 25 vehicles at a road construction site in Kurkheda of Gadchiroli at around 3:30 am.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis about the incident. "We are providing all assistance needed by the state government. MHA is in constant touch with the state administration," he tweeted, condoling the deaths.
