Making BHO wax or Shatter

Butane hash oil or BHO is a concentrated extract, a viscous substance, which is also known as shatter, glass, wax, whip, comb, etc. Due to its resemblance to honey, it is also called as honey oil. BHO extraction uses butane as a solvent to release all its components.  The product received through the process is purer, clearer form of concentrate.

With the increasing popularity of this product, more and more people are learning how to make BHO. In order to make this product, they need to have specialized equipment and follow the procedure carefully as it involves the use of butane. Only high-quality materials have to be used to obtain the desired product. The entire production may seem scary but can be done safely with the right equipment and procedure. Many people like to do it themselves as they want to know what exactly is in it.

It is also as butane hash oil because of the underlying process. Fresh trims of material are put into a container in which butane is pushed through until the butane escapes and the plant concentrate remains. During the process, certain materials are removed in the liquid mixture of butane and material. Afterwards, harmful butane is removed through evaporation keeping the good product which is the wax like substance, known as shatter or BHO.

People, nowadays, show immense interest in how to make shatter but it still is recommended to not try hands under inappropriate conditions or in a state where certain products are illegal. It is better to make BHO under safe conditions. Since butane is highly flammable, only its safe use is encouraged to avoid any potential danger. When performed by an expert, the process is quite quick and safe.

The safety issues

As already discussed, BHO is safe only when done by a qualified manufacturer. Similarly, the final product is also safe when produced by an expert. Butane is not for consumption so BHO should not have dangerous levels of butane. Transparent and clear product means safe outcomes. Transparency can be checked by putting a small quantity of product on a table to see through it. However, sometimes the end products may not have high transparency level.

Preparing BHO or shatter is a great way to obtain concentrates with 90% of the special parts. It may be an extremely powerful medicine often suggested for quality health care. However, safety in production remains a major concern.
