BASQUE AND RUSSIAN UNIVERSITIES COMBAT STEREOTYPES THANKS TO AN INTERACTIVE PROJPosted by JessicaRhodes on May 31st, 2019 Last year faced violent altercations between fans of Athletic Bilbao and Spartak Moscow during the preview of a Europa League game. The academic society decided not to be aside and organized a special project devoted to cherishing intercultural understanding and love. Dmitrii Enygin, of the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics, together with Joseba Arregi of the University of Basque country developed an idea of a student video session, where they had to present their countries and cultures the way they think it should be globally done. The project was a real success, because students got really enthusiastic and did their best. This year the project welcomes new participants and their contribution in the way of videos or social networking.
