How to set up a Netgear wireless range extender?

• Place your existing and the Netgear Nighthawk X6 EX7700 (AC2200) WiFi mesh extender in the same room. Avoid interference caused by concrete walls, reflection of mirrors, windows, and doors.
• Connect them via Ethernet cable. Place them out of the range and reach of baby monitors, Bluetooth speakers, and cordless phones.
• Grab a computer/laptop. Connect it with your range extender. Turn off the microwave, juicer, metal appliances, dishwasher, mixer grinder, electronic toys, and gadgets.
• Load up a web browser. Clear the cache and browsing history first.
• Type mywifiext.com (for Windows PC) in the URL bar of your currently opened browser. Do not use the search bar.
• Login by providing the login credentials to the displayed page. If you have changed the default username and password, use them instead.
• Now, on the Netgear Genie setup page, follow the on-screen instructions. Do not stop until unless the page asks you to click on 'finish' to complete the setup process.
