When it comes to marketing any product or service the first choice or in some cases only choice is advertising through mass media; advertisements in print media, television channels, FM radio is all that we can think of. However, this publicity doesn’t come cheap. The publication and TV channels which have high readership/viewership charge a bomb. For a play school owner it may just not make sense to advertise in mass media.

Moreover, most of the mass media platforms have a big reach that is they would telecast their signals say pan India or have newspaper edition for the whole of north India. So they would charge their clients keeping in mind their reach. In the case of a play school it may be useless to advertise the school in Bhopal if the school is running in Delhi. And this reach out program should be in the chosen months of January to March and may be in July when parents might consider admitting their child.

You can meet your play school requirements easily if you market on social media platforms like facebook, twitter, instagram for maximum reach. Not only all your activities and pictures can be posted but it would also provide interactions which no mass media advertising provides. You can post your school pictures on instagram. Tweet about your admission notice etc on twitter and ask the parents to fill the admission form on facebook. And didn’t I tell you it is all free. That is the advantage of the social media today. Moreover, not only you can tag people (your potential clients) but also send them personalized messages.

Similarly using your email and phone book you can do wonders in contacting the parents in your locality. The best play school franchise are now having their social media cells to keep engaged with their clients and get their feedback on their services. They are now hiring companies to do their jobs, but since your operation is limited one you could do it by yourself by dedicating a staff member to this in his free time.
