Oil stains are very persistent and are not removed just before drying off, especially with work clothes. It is important not to wash the laundry with warm water. As suggested by laundry on demand services, this makes it harder to remove the oil stains from the fibers.

If the oil has not dried yet, it can often be bound with baby powder, dry shampoo or starch. Stains that are already deeper in the tissue are difficult to remove with conventional aids.

The best way to massage such textiles on both sides with shampoo and a few drops of water. With hard-wearing tissue, you can also use gall soap instead of shampoo. Then leave the shampoo or the gall soap to work and rinse it off after about half an hour. Since these two steps need to be repeated many times with patience, it is easier to chemically cleanse these stains. The oil is dissolved out without damaging the fiber.

The procedure for removing grease stains resembles that for oil stain removal. But fat is much easier to remove. Usually, only a simple pretreatment with a soapy solution (shampoo and water) is necessary. Then the garment can be cleaned as usual in the washing machine.

Sun cream stains are grease stains that can be solved with soap. Unfortunately, a wash cycle is usually not enough in this case - a pre-treatment is necessary. Stains on white clothing can also be treated with a paste of baking soda and water. For colored clothing, however, this type of stain removal is not recommended, as the baking powder has a bleaching effect.

Foxing in textiles:

Also, mildew or mold stains can occur on clothing. This may be due to bad room ventilation or insufficiently dried laundry. If the foxing has occurred in a cabinet, check the cause and clean the cabinet thoroughly.

To prevent damage to your health or clothing, the mold stains must be removed. First, the mold should be roughly brushed. It is highly recommended to keep the windows open or to do so in the fresh desire and not to inhale the mold dust as much as possible.

If possible, the remaining mold spores must be completely dried out in the sun. Tip: Use the outside of the clothing inside, otherwise the sun may fade your clothes. A few hours of the sun should be enough. Before you put the laundry in the washing machine, wash the clothes with cold water once before. After washing your machine, remember to hang the laundry so that it dries as quickly as possible.

If you are want to get rid of any types of stains, you can take laundry on demand service.
