Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data are two of the most popular technologies that are used in today’s fast paced world. No wonder AI existed decade ago, but Big data is a recent innovation by great minds. It is fact that every day millions of records are generated by computers and the power to analyze these are supported by Big Data. Therefore, big data and artificial intelligence are two astounding technologies that empowers machine learning and update the information in real-time with recursive experiments and human intervention.

The question arises, how Big Data can be used in AI Invention?

AI has reduced the burden of human intervention and this gives people a perception that this has all machine learning abilities and robots will take human jobs sooner. However, this thought was broken with the advent of Big Data. It is a common understanding that machine takes decisions based on the facts and there’s no scope for emotional interaction. In contrast to this, when Big data was introduced, data scientists paid attention on emotional intelligence too. This helped in taking right decisions in a correct manner.

When big data analytics and artificial intelligence are combined together, it will certainly help companies to know exact interests of customers in the best manner. For an instance, a data scientist of any Pharma industry can’t only analyze customer’s need and also check the rules of the specific market of that particular region. Based on the salts used as ingredients in medicine, they can recommend the best suitable option for that market. However, this is not possible with machine learning. Thus, big data and artificial intelligence together gives rise to many new and unique concept for any organization.

The internet offers a concrete level of information about customers likes, dislikes, habits, personal preferences and many other such activities. All these was not possible few years back. Online profiles, product reviews, social media accounts, tagged interests, rewards/loyalty apps, CRM systems, etc. add potential data to the Big Data account. Now using data from these and other relevant and diversified sources, AI builds knowledge’s store house that allows accurate predictions about customers; what they buy, time spent on a specific website, what they look for and many other such bits of data that help in identifying exact requirements of users.
