Bransholme man banned from Cheeky Smokes after 'asking for refund on ￡55 VooPoo

A man claims he has been banned from every Cheeky Smokes store in Hull for life after complaining about a product.Darren Watson, 34, says he was barred from entering the vaping and Electronic Cigarette Wholesale chain after a four month-long battle with what he claims is a "faulty" smoking device.

Mr Watson claims that the flavoured liquid he was sold with a ￡55 vape kit made him need more than 20 replacement coils because they constantly "burned out".But he says when he finally received a full refund for the vaping device this week, he was subsequently banned after "abusive" behaviour.

A Cheeky Smokes spokesperson has said staff have not had any similar complaints from customers and Mr Watson had "told the shop owner to go f*** himself".Mr Watson, of Bransholme, said: "The customer service at Cheeky Smokes is an absolute shambles.

"I have been vaping for three or four years now after stopping smoking. I had one of those really cheap sticks so I decided to get a more advanced one."Mr Watson had purchased the ￡55 VooPoo vaping device from the Prospect Centre store on September 10 last year.

But he claims the liquid flavours for the device were "too watery" for his particular tank and modification - because he prefers a "quicker hit".
