Google Ads New Recommendations to Improve Optimization Score

Google ads is a program started by Google that will advertise your webpage for you without having to bring in a professional. The program works on a pay per click theory. There is an optimization score for each Ad which wasn’t available to the users earlier. However, take note Google Ad uses, there is a new Optimization score not viewable for your account in the recommendations tab.

The article explains what the new optimization score implies for your google ads account and, how much should you keep it in consideration. The score is an estimate of your performance based on Google’s recommendations. Depending on your implementation of these recommendations the score ranges between 0 percent to 100 percent. The score is calculated on various factors. The score will help while label PPC management for B2B business. The optimization support page notes that the score has been calculated in real-time. The following are the considerations in the optimization score. The statistics are related to your account and, campaigns and shows you the settings and, the status of your campaigns. It also tells you the impact of the recommendations that are available to you along with the recent history of recommendations and, the various trends in the Ads ecosystem.

Google thoroughly analysis each category and, then recommends certain improvements that are believed to help your Google Ads campaigns to perform in a superior manner. The implementation of these recommendations increases the optimization score. Accompanying your score is the list of recommendations by Google. The recommendations also display how much you can increase your score after implementing it. According to Google’s support page, it states “Applying or dismissing these recommendations changes the overall optimization score of your account. Optimization score is available at the Campaign, Account, and Manager Account levels". It is necessary to note that the score is in the beta version and, only available for Search Campaigns.

When you click on each recommendation, new details about the suggestion is revealed. Additional details include the strategies of changing bidding, how to use extensions, implementation of specific ad units and more. An estimated impact of each recommendation is displayed by Google, along with the reason behind the suggestion. Analysis by Google on what can be improved is quite elementary in nature.

The optimization recommendations are only available to target CPA as most of the conversion data for Google comes from lead-gen conversions. Google might bring out a suggestion for Target ROAS in the future.

It is better to keep in mind that you must treat the optimization recommendations with Scrutiny. It is a novel addition to the various AdWords features; specialists note that the recommendations are not also necessary. It is also suggested to evaluate your recommendations on a case-by-case basis. It is a useful feature where while some suggestions are worth implementing, some of them do not make sense.

If you do not wish to implement any of Google’s recommendations, you are given the option to dismiss them. If you do dismiss a recommendation, it will count towards your optimization score. While dismissing any recommendation will increase your overall optimization score as it will show up as a grayed-out portion in the bar. The score makes white label PPC advertisement more accessible to all.
