Calgary’s Best Playgrounds

Posted by Jason Waler on July 9th, 2019

When you visit Calgary, it has a lot to offer. The country is enriched with several natural and man-made fun spots that allure and mesmerize its tourists. Here, in this blog, I will be talking about the best playground structures in Calgary.

1. Castle Playground

Also known as Prestwick Pirate, this playground is located at one Prestwick Manor SE. The reason of giving it two names is that it has two types of structures: one resembles the shape of a castle and other looks like a pirate ship.

2. Nellie Breen Park

Located at 14th street, St. Monica Avenue, this playground attracts young and adult equally. For kids, it has preschool playground equipment; however, it has multiple sites for adults to play, too.

3. Valleyview Park

It is a park basically that is home to two lovely playgrounds. One is a spray park that is loved by toddlers and kids alike; however, the second one is exclusively for preschool kids where kids are given the freedom to play wherever and whatever they like.

4. Springborough Playground

I found it the best playground in Calgary among all because its structure is very interesting. The morning walkers can start their day by walking on comfy ramps and floor exclusive for walking while kids can climb on the safe climber.

5. Helicopter Playground

As the name shows, it is a helicopter-themed playground that has large flooring and a lot of variations in terms of equipment. The ground is made in such a way that it attracts children of all ages equally.
