How to Setup Alexa Echo

Plug in Amazon Echo Device. The ring indicator on the top will show blue light then switch to a
rotating orange color. This orange color indicates that it’s ready to be configured. If it starts
complaining and the ring turns purple in color, then you need to press the action button for about
four-five seconds until the ring turns orange again.

Once the Alexa Echo is fully charged and in the orange configuration mode, open up the Wi-Fi
settings from your smartphone. in order to Setup Alexa Echo you need to connect it directly to Wi-
Fi during the configuration process. Then, you can launch the Alexa app to start the Setup Alexa Echo.

Select which type of Echo device you need to setup. The Alexa app should jump straight into the
configuration process, but if it doesn’t, then on the Setup Alexa Echo screen, choose “Amazon Echo” and that will take you to the screen where you can choose which device you’re setting up.

When you’re connected to the Alexa Echo with the app, the rest is very easy. agree to the Alexa
user conditions in your Amazon account and then select your Wi-Fi network which Alexa Echo can
detect. Alexa Echo is ready to start for use after you connect Wi-Fi network.
