Process of stormwater Management

EPA, which is also known as the United States Environmental Protection Agency, has taken a step to overcome the reduced runoff water of rainwater or the melted snow water into streets, the sites like lawns and other sites need improvement of water quality by Stormwater management. Stormwater can soak into the soil, be held on the surface and evaporate, or runoff and end up in nearby streams, rivers, or other water bodies (surface water). In natural landscapes like forests, the soil absorbs much of the stormwater and plants help hold stormwater close to where its runoff.

There are two major issues in a developed environment with the Stormwater: one is related to the timing of runoff water and the volume and the other one is related to the potential that the water carrying contaminants. Stormwater is also an important resource as the whole world's human population demand increases the availability of purifies available water. There are some techniques for harvesting through the Storm, which uses the point source water management and also the water purification can potentially develop environments by self-sustaining. The quality and quantity measured by the process are called "Stormwater Management".

The groups of words “Best Management Practice “ or stormwater control measure (SCM) is usually used to both structural or engineered control devices and systems to treat or store polluted and waste stormwater which is a runoff in the earth, as well as operational or procedural practices. Stormwater management includes both technical and institutional issues. By stormwater Management; we can plan to improve area water quality by preventing harmful pollutants from being carried by stormwater runoff into local water bodies. To prevent or reduce the pollutants in stormwater runoff by the method of Best Management Practices.EPA works to reduce runoff and improve water quality by implementing stormwater management at its facilities. Stormwater is a process of rainwater or melted snow from ice-lands that runs off streets, lawns and other sites.

The absorption of water is done into the soil, and the filtration is done by the ultimate replenishes, which is acquired through the river streams. Stormwater is added to two words storm and water, which is water that originates during rain and snow/ice melt. Stormwater can soak into the soil (infiltrate), be held on the surface and evaporate, or runoff and end up in nearby streams, rivers, or other water bodies. The name is quite and meaningful, and stormwater management facilities have a simple and unique purpose: they gather rainfall and surface water runoff in the earth to help reduce the possibility of flooding and property damage. Stormwater management’s purpose is to improve the quality of water and reduce the wastage of water.
