IoA Qualifications

The range of qualifications developed by IoA, the Global Body for Analytics, offers a progressive structure for your career development, from courses offering the ‘Fundamentals’ of Analytics & Data Science through to ‘Management’ and ‘Professional’ levels of understanding, requiring more advanced learning and assessment. The core value of our qualifications: the assessment criteria, learning outcomes and training models. Successful completion of any of the IoA Qualifications leads to the Affiliate Membership with the Institute.

CPD Programs

Like most professional bodies, we believe it’s essential for members to keep up to date with the latest developments and knowledge in their field – it’s called Continuing Professional Development. However, we’re not prescriptive about how they do that. We think members are in the best position to know how best to brush up their skills.

However, we expect members to keep a record on their membership profile of their CPD activities, which we monitor, as a condition of membership. CPD is any learning that adds value and enhances your occupational knowledge and skill. It facilitates individual development and maintenance of professional competence. Our inclusive definition reflects the diverse range of members and the activities they undertake to develop their careers. Attending relevant conferences and seminars, reading magazines and websites or researching new products and innovative methods can all contribute to CPD.

IoA Accreditation Scheme

IoA accredits Universities, Colleges, Higher Education Partners, Private Training Provider to become an Approved Learner Partner to deliver the IoA Qualifications.

IoA Academic Accreditation is an internationally recognised seal of quality assurance for the teaching institute and a gold standard for educational programmes in the Analytics & Data Science. The award of accreditation signifies that both the teaching institute and the programme have met the highest standards of quality.

Through academic accreditation, the teaching institute can develop links with industry experts and gain access to the latest research, CPD events and influential figures in the industry. Accredited courses can use our logo for marketing their courses and state that they are IoA Accredited in their Key Information Sets (KIS).

As a Part of our Academic Accreditation Scheme, we Recognize Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes all around the world, which match our educational requirements. At the same time IoA Endorse Foundation / Diploma / Certificate Programs in Analytics & Data Science as a part of its Accreditation Scheme.

Achieving accreditation for a course is beneficial for students, who can be assured that their chosen programme meets the highest academic and quality standards and will provide them with exemption from membership requirements. Students have access to the IoA Resources and information services, professional development activities as well as careers advice and progression opportunities. Our careers portal provides a wealth of free advice. Students from Accredited Programs may get Exemptions towards IoA Qualifications as well.
