Exercises You Must Perform After Any Weight Loss Surgery

Abdominal exercise

Performing this exercise is super-easy as all you need to do is place your hands gently in the tummy and then slowly continue your breathing process. Now, you need to pull your tummy away from your hands towards your back and try to hold this for 10 seconds.

Walking:

After a few months of weight loss surgery, you can go for jogging in the morning and evening.  Try to walk at least 10 minutes and then build up your speed gradually. Instead of taking the elevator you should consider taking stairs which will become a part of your routine. Walking is a great way to start your exercise journey. Make sure that you increase your speed and distance every week to get maximum results.

Deep Breathing Exercises:

You should start this exercise a few weeks after your weight loss surgery. Make sure that you take it very slowly and you need to do this in your nose instead of the nose. If you want to get maximum results, then you need to hold your breath for more than 30 sec and make sure that you release this in a slow process. Doing this 4-5 time a day will surely give you some of the beneficial results.

Ankle Exercises:

This is one of the best circulatory exercises which will increase the blood flow in your body. You can do this any time of the day. The best part about this exercise you can do this either by lying on the bed or sitting. To perform this exercise, make sure that you keep your backbone straight. Bend and stretch your ankles up and down slowly. You need to repeat this exercise for 10 minutes to get beneficial results.

Buttocks Exercises:

Sleeping or sitting in a constant position will never give you satisfying results. You need to perform buttocks exercise. To perform this exercise, you need to lift your buttock and lie on your face down with your head resting on a pillow. Now, all you need to do is bring your feet from your buttock so that your knees are bent to 90 degrees. In this particular position, your feet would be in a parallel to each other while pointing towards the straight.

Pelvic Tilting:

This is one of the best exercises that you can perform after 3 weeks of weight loss surgery. This exercise will release the pressure that is building up in your stomach while ensuring that your stomach is absolutely fine. To perform this exercise, you need to tighten your tummy and gently lower both knees to one side. While tilting you're pelvic, you really need to make sure that you are doing this in a comfortable position.

Knee Rolling:

This is another abdominal exercise that you need to perform right away so that you can get lasting benefits. Knee rolling is quite easy and simple. So, to start this you need to place your hand in the hollow of your back. After taking a comfortable position, you need to fold your knees while ensuring that your backbone is straight. After folding the knees, all you need to place both of your knees in the right side of the bed and then left the side of the bed. Have proper breathing process in this.

Lift Your Head:

After weight loss surgery, it is very much important that you take the proper amount of rest. This is one of the most important aspects that you should take care of after your weight loss surgery.  After a few weeks of weight loss surgery, you need to perform this activity. There are several variations that you can perform this activity.

  • First, you need to put your hand behind your back and then bend your head in the upper and lower position.
  • Second, tilt your head while inhaling and exhaling so that it can give impact to your abdominal.
  • Third. You can rotate your trunks and lay your knees on the floor. First, you can rotate this in the left and right side while lifting your shoulder.

You need to discontinue all the above exercises if it causes any pain and gets the advice you’re your doctor as soon as possible.
