Eating a healthy food is the best way to be healthy. In present days, it is seen that majority of people add naturally extracted one or more dietary supplements in their routine to be healthy. these supplements include vitamins, minerals  herbal extracts amino acids , enzymes and many more in form of tablets, capsules, oils, powders and energy bars. Fish oils, Vit D,Berberine, krill oil, Argus castus, and alpha lipoic acid, omega- 3  are few dietary supplement

 Berberinea yellow-colored ,bitter-tasting, alkaloid  naturally occurring compound  extracted from many medicinal herbs and plants has potent  anti-inflammatory , antibacterial properties and plays essential role , Berberine plays an essential role in  activating adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) enzyme that controls energy production in the body and help regulate biologic activities. The positive effects of berberine in overall health is similar to the effects of proper diet, exercise and weight loss, its potential health benefits can make it a worthy addition to your routine. The most common type of Berberine is berberine hydrochloride. Berberine is extracted from the roots, barks, leaves and rhizomes of plants like-

Krill oil  is extracted from krill, a type of small crustacean consumed by whales. . Krill oil is rich in omega 3 (EPA and DHA) fatty acid having a variety of health benefits. Krill oil is superior to fish oil as it is easy for the body to use. The fatty acid found in krill is as phospholipids that are easy to absorb in blood stream. They improve the blood lipids and heart health, act as anti-inflammatory and help in reducing PMS symptoms.

Alpha Lipoic acid(ALA) also known thioctic acid is the most active form of lipoic acid, ALA is a naturally occurring dithiol compound functioning as a cofactor   for mitochondrial enzymes in energy metabolism.ALA can be absorbed from natural food sources as well as nutritional supplements.ALA has two liopate enatiomers –R-ALA and S-ALA but only R-ALA is endogenously synthesized. Yeast and liver are good source of ALA. Other sources are broccoli, spinach potatoes, heart kidney, and skeletal muscle Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA)is used as an antioxidant for the treatment of diabetes and HIV. It is also used for liver ailments and cancer.

Agnus-castus, also called vitex, chasteberry or monk’s pepper is cultivated in warm temperate and subtropical regions. Flavonoids, iridoid glycoside, acid, alkaloids, essential oils, diterpenoids , fatty oils and steroids  occur in the fruits leaves.

About us:- There is limited clinical evidence regarding effectiveness of vitex extracts to manage premenstrual stress syndrome, Vitex agnus-castus is contra indicated in pregnancy and lactating women.  Adverse effect includes nausea, headache, menstrual discomfort, gastrointestinal discomfort fatigue, and skin disorders.
