Arca-swiss plate - The idea behind introducing the quick release system was quite simple, but very effective. Almost all professional photographers that use super-telephoto lenses have upgraded to the Arca-style swiss plate for ease of use, stability and compatibility reasons. The biggest advantage of the Arca-Swiss quick release system is its ability to slide the plate without having to worry about mounting or dismounting anything.
