What it comes to selling a home, you want to make sure you get top dollar for it. There are a few easy ways to prep your home for sale without doing a major renovation. And the easiest way to do this is by painting your rooms. 

Paint is a great way to personalize your home and make it your own. However, when it comes to selling, you want your home to appeal to as many buyers as possible. Unfortunately, not everyone will love the teal paint color you chose as much as you do. That's why it's a smart idea to change the wall colors when you decide to sell.

Neutrals, 100%. Why are neutrals the best colors to use? Because they allow the home buyer to easily envision their belongings in the home without any distraction. Neutral paint colors will go with any decor style. Buyers will also see the home as move-in ready.

• If you really want to create a space that will draw buyers in, try using an off-white paint color. This color will not only appeal to buyers but it will also make your rooms feel bigger and more open. And of course, that's what buyers want to see.
