XRPS is an implementation scheme upgraded and customized based on Ripple system blockchain technology, making it more suitable for the railway industry. RCP consensus algorithm of Ripple system is an open source payment protocol based on the Internet, which can realize the functions of decentralized currency exchange, payment and settlement. In the Ripple network pool, transactions are initiated by the client (application) and broadcast across the network via Tracking node or validating node. There are potential defects in Ripple RCP consensus algorithm, and these features are not so friendly to XRPS applied in railway industry. Therefore, XRPS system uses the consensus algorithm combining DPos + Ripple RCP consensus algorithm, so as to make up for the defects that Ripple RCP consensus algorithm may bring.

DPoS of XRPS system mitigates the potential negative impact of Ripple system centralization by adopting witnesses. By using a decentralized voting process, the XRPS system is designed to be more democratic than the Ripple system. By reducing the number of confirmation required, the Dpos algorithm of XRPS system greatly the speed of transactions and is more scalable.

XRPS Railway Information Cyber-Physic System (XRPS_CPS)

XRPS railway information cyber-physic system (XRPS_CPS) is a CPS established based on the underlying XRPS blockchain, which merges the physical world of actual railway operation and XRPS computer world. XRPS_CPS is a service-oriented XPRS-driven railway information cyber-physic system, which regards services as the core element. By dividing services into perceptual service, control service and computing service, the business process and specific technology are decoupled and the railway system joint force is formed through the cooperation between services.

According to the business classification of application system, XRPS_CPS can be classified into intelligent train, intelligent infrastructure, intelligent traffic organization and dispatching command, intelligent transportation guarantee, intelligent passenger and freight transportation and other services.

XRPS_CPS is composed of three basic components: decision making control unit, sensor and actuator. the decision making control unit generates control logic according to user-defined rules, while the sensor monitors and senses the external environment, and the actuator controls the controlled object after receiving control instructions. Both the sensor and the actuator are embedded devices.

XRPS_CPS system is an organic combination of computing system, communication system and control system that connect with each other through the network, so it is a heterogeneous hybrid system.

The connotation of intelligent railway is to manage business based on railway network infrastructure and transportation vehicles, supported by sensor network and information platform, and by means of intelligent computing, intelligent communication and intelligent control, in all fields and aspects of railway system, such as transportation organization, passenger and freight marketing, operation and management. Therefore, it can be concluded that the requirement architecture of railway information cyber-physic system driven by big data is capability requirement architecture and application architecture. XRPS_CPS application system extends business applications to infrastructure layer and platform layer through cloud computing platform. The main application scenarios can cover: railway infrastructure, railway operation facilities, railway logistics information system, railway intelligent system, railway production facilities, railway mobile terminal system, railway intelligent settlement system, etc.
