  • Preparation strategy according to IBSAT syllabus section wise

vQuantitative Aptitude (QA)– IBSAT doesn’t follow the negative marking scheme. The difficulty level of this section is easy to moderate. The QA section will be fully based on tricky problems. There might be some questions which can confuse you or not easy to solve. But, your basics should be clear enough to solve any question. The most important tip that you should start solving the CAT (QA) section to enhance your chances to grab excellent marks. From 2017, the number of difficult questions has increased, so you have to prepare yourself to solve every question efficiently.

vVerbal Ability (VA) and Reading Comprehension (RC)–The VA and RC is two different parts, basically the concept is same. The difficulty level for both the parts will be easy to moderate. For RC, you should develop the habit of reading more day by day. You have to analyse the thoughts and words of author. You actually have to be expertise in the art of reading. In VA, you have to enhance your communication skills. For this part, you should start reading newspapers, business articles, and magazines. You have to daily brush up your vocabulary. vData Sufficiency and Data Interpretation (DA/ DI)– The true management skills will play a significant role in this section. The difficulty level of this section will be moderate to difficult. Your logical thinking will help you to grab decent marks in this section. You should learn to solve the reasoning questions in minimum time. Start preparing for jumbles, logical and mathematical reasoning to fetch excellent marks. You should also learn the alternative quick shortcuts to save time in this section. You should be consistent with your daily routine when it comes to both DA and DI.
