Healthy mind lives in a healthy body. A healthy body requires sufficient amount of sleep and some bedding basics which include the bed linens, bed sheets, blankets and of coarse pillows Bolster .

All people require pillows during sleep and to support them while relaxing. Some of them keep many pillows in their room but generally two are required on a bed. Some people love to have more than two on their bed too. It becomes more attractive when they are covered with pillowcases with interesting and decorative prints.

The ones we sleep on are generally hidden under the bed sheet which diminishes the attraction of the bed. We must purchase a set of shams for these and keep them above the bed cover. We must also make sure that our pillow sizes matches our mattress size.

Bolster pillows are the latest invented ones. They are nice looking, multi functional pillows filled with cotton or fiber which is used for head or back support. They can also be used as baby bumpers inside cribs. Large ones are filled with a polyester fibre. The specialty of this fibre is that that it does not absorb water which reduces the chance of forming mould and mildew spores. It can be used in kid playrooms and family rooms while playing cards or reading story books.

There is a medical reason of sleeping with a bolster pillow, too. Some families encourage their children to hug them until they grow as it is very good for soothing nerves and calming their mind during sleep. They are available in a variety of models departmental stores and house decoration shops.

These are manufactured with the technological advantages having minimum amount of material used in the fabrication process. It is resistant and can be used for long time without showing the touch of use. It can easily be cleaned by regular washing. So, this is a fine item to have in bed.
