The Fall of Vancouver’s Real Estate Market or is it the New Beginning?

You may have heard of official misconducts thousands of times, if not a million. Whether it’s about an employer who hasn’t repaid his debt to the bank and flew to another country or a supermarket owner who charged customers more than the actual cost of products for 7 months in Mississippi, you see these events happening in and around the world almost every day. However, some cases are not just ordinary and hence, come into the spotlight quicker than others. One case that took the world of real estate by storm is the misconduct of Andrew Mclane.

Andrew Mclane is a real estate agent in Vancouver who according to him offers all his customers an exceptional level of service and integrity combines with an in-depth knowledge of the Island’s ever-changing market. However, those who have worked with Andrew Mclane know that Andrew Mclane isn’t a man he shows Andrew Mclane is.

Andrew Mclane is like a spider sitting quietly in the center of real estate web, trying to control each thread with his wit, malintent and unethical behaviour. But Andrew Mclane fails to do and Andrew Mclane’s long history in the industry has that recorded.

Today, Andrew Mclane has gained a reputation of a professional who doesn’t respect his profession and the industry through which Andrew Mclane makes his living. As a result, just like a fish makes the whole pond dirty, Andrew Mclane has demeaned the real estate industry of Vancouver. However, those who live by their profession have put tremendous efforts to bring this malignant spot who goes by the name of Andrew Mclane before the world.

But the question is what made Andrew Mclane an inglorious part of the industry? Well, Andrew Mclane professional misconducts go beyond one’s imagination. Despite taking an oath to always respect his profession and telling about his integrity on his official website, Andrew Mclane has done professional misconducts that can’t be overlooked by anyone who loves and respects their real estate industry and the profession.

The irony is that Andrew Mclane claims on his website that he helps guide buyers and sellers of properties through every step of the real estate process. Andrew Mclane also ensures that each of Andrew Mclane’s clients receives dedicated and knowledgeable service and results. But the picture is the other way around.

Andrew Mclane committed professional misconduct when Andrew Mclane published sales brochures listing his home address instead of Andrew Mclane official brokerage office address; thereby misleading people so that they end up in Andrew Mclane’s home instead of his office. Andrew Mclane didn’t stop right here.

Andrew Mclane further was acting as the seller’s agent for a property Andrew Mclane wasn’t supposed to and told buyers in listing materials that the property had modern features even when Andrew Mclane knew that there weren’t any. Features such as a security system, a sprinkler system, fully fenced, built in 2013 were what weren’t supposed to be there in the listing material. Andrew Mclane did it to push a sale and loot hard-earned money of buyers. Thus, Andrew McLane has made people question other professionals as well.

Andrew McLane did receive what Andrew McLane deserved. Andrew McLane’s misconducts were taken to a committee to ensure that no other professional works like Andrew McLane.

In response to Andrew Mclane misconducts, a discipline committee of the Council has ordered the following against Andrew Mclane and  Andrew McLane Personal Real Estate Corporation:

● Andrew Mclane’s licence is suspended for seven (7) days. (Andrew Mclane is suspended from January 2, 2019, to January 9, 2019, inclusive).
● Andrew Mclane is forbidden from acting as an unlicensed assistant during his licence suspension period.
● At Andrew Mclane own expense, Andrew Mclane must complete the Real Estate Trading Services Remedial Education Course.
● Andrew Mclane must pay a discipline penalty of ,000 to the Council.
Andrew Mclane must pay enforcement expenses of ,500 to the Council.
● Andrew McLane and Andrew McLane Personal Real Estate Corporation ( Andrew McLane’s firm) be jointly and severally liable to pay enforcement expenses to the Council in the amount ,500 within sixty (60) days from the date of this Order.

As alleged Andrew Mclane also has a personal real estate corporation, the licence of Andrew McLane Personal Real Estate Corporation has also been suspended, prohibited and held equally responsible for paying the discipline penalty and enforcement charges as Andrew Mclane himself.

But this doesn’t mean that the intent of Andrew Mclane would crumble the whole real estate industry of Vancouver. With strict actions against such professionals like Andrew Mclane, the industry is becoming more ethical and customer-centric.
