When it comes to forklift tonnage, how many tonnages does a heavy duty forklift

Our common forklifts are usually standard small forklifts, which are small in size and have a mass ranging from 1 ton to 5 tons. They are also the most frequently used forklifts in our work. In addition to standard forklift trucks, there are special container forklift trucks for container operation, which are divided into container operation forklift trucks (2-5t), empty container stacking forklift trucks (7-10t) and full container loading and unloading forklift trucks (20-42t).
Tonnage type of forklift truck
1. Forklift trucks, such as general diesel forklift trucks and electric forklift trucks, generally use diesel, gasoline, natural gas and storage batteries as power. The load capacity is about 1.2-8.0 tons, and the width of working passage is generally 3.5-5.0 meters. Because the load is small, it is more flexible and the most common type of forklift. This kind of forklift is usually used to fork lighter pallets and is the main force in the factory workshop.

2. The heavy duty forklift has a larger load capacity, usually powered by diesel engines with a load capacity of 10.0-52.0 tons. They are generally used for outdoor operations in heavy cargo wharfs, steel and other industries.

3. Container forklift trucks are still powered by diesel engines, with carrying capacity ranging from 8.0 to 45.0 tons. They are generally divided into empty container stacker, heavy Container Stacker and container front crane. Mainly used in container handling, such as container yard or port terminal operations.

4. The heavy duty forklifts are named because they can fork goods from the side. They also use diesel engines as power, and their carrying capacity is about 3.0 to 6.0 tons. In the case of no turning, it has the ability to fork goods directly from the side, so it is mainly used to fork goods of long strips such as wooden bars and steel bars.

When selecting forklift trucks, different tonnages of forklift trucks should be selected according to different uses. If the tonnage is too small, it is easy to lose its balance and cause accidents. If the tonnage is too large, it will lead to a small horse-drawn cart and waste of resources.
