Introduce Breitling Superocean Ironman Limited Edition

Breitling is now the official luxury timepiece sponsor of two Ironman events (Nice, France, and Kona, Hawaii). With that they’ve released a new limited edition (300 pieces) Superocean Automatic in 44mm.

How about the Breitling Superocean Ironman Limited Edition
The Breitling Superocean 44 Automatic Ironman Limited Edition is built and designed in the “ocean pilot” style of the Superocean 44 Special series, which combines classical aviation-watch DNA with traditional divers’ watch elements. The 1000M stainless diver features a black dial with some red highlights – the seconds hand arrow tip and the outer minutes track. What’s of real interest to me, though, is that the watch has the “Ironman” logo at 3:00 where the date window lies on normal edition Superoceans. So, that’s intriguing and nice to see that Breitling is open to no date models. At 3,580 Euros and on a red Diver Pro III rubber strap with pin buckle, this watch is 230 Euros more expensive than the normal 44mm models on strap.
The dial has extra-large hour markers and numerals coated with Super-LumiNova, along with the inverted triangle marker at 12 o’clock on the bezel’s dive scale. Hours and minutes are tracked the large, baton-shaped hour and minute hands and seconds by a red-tipped hand with a small luminescent triangle that echoes the color of the Ironman logo and of the red rubber strap, in Breitling’s “Diver Pro III” style. The date appears in a window at 3 o’clock.
The movement is the automatic Breitling Caliber 17, which uses the tried-and-true ETA 2824-2 as a base.it has been COSC-certified as a chronometer. It is equipped with 25 jewels, a high frequency of 28,800 vph, and a power reserve of 42 hours.On the case back ,you can see a Ironman logo and "one of 300" word to show this watch is limited edtion.
