Sober Companions Earning Over 1000 Dollar a Day

The world of sober coaching is a very lucrative industry.

Some sober companions are paid thousands of dollars to babysit addicts who look like they in danger of falling off the wagon. A sober companion can earn 1000 $ a day for keeping a person from relapsing and grabbing that bottle of whiskey.

After years of rehab and many relapses, sober companions are sometimes seen as the last resort for an addict who needs to get clean.

Is being a sober companion new?

In the past, sober companions were seen as high-end professionals who could only be afforded by celebrities and actors struggling to maintain their careers. However, the past decade has seen changes to the sober companion’s clientele. A companion has become an alternative to traditional rehabs for addicts with the money to burn.

The duties of a sober companion are varied if one is to justify why they get paid so much. Example duties may be simply reminding a client to attend sobriety meetings. Another example might be that he or she will have the explosive duty to restrict a client from sneaking away to take a hit of whatever is their poison.

For the relapsing addict, it has been thought that they are less likely to stay sober if they are alone. Money aside, these companions are certainly effective.

For a price, an addict can find someone to give them constant companionship (or surveillance if you prefer).

What kind of money can be earned?

A sober companion can be paid between 750 $ and 1000 $ a day. There are sober companions that are great at marketing themselves who can be paid a whopping,$ 80,000 a month.

This is a premium for their prestige and for handling the most difficult clients.

For such a high price, an addict receives full attention from the sober companion who accompanies them to all events, parties, and other functions. The companion encourages them to remain sober "just, say no".

Who is their clientele?

Investment bankers and traders are among some of the professionals that may need but can also afford sober companions.

They can pay even 1900 $ a day for a live-in sobriety companion who spends every minute, ensuring that they do not return to using.

Many professionals become hooked on prescription pills because of the long hours and constant stress.

What do they do?

Affluent addicts are willing to pay sober companions well to move into their homes, accompany them when they are traveling, and sit with them for meals.

These companions become embedded in every aspect of the recovering addicts' life.

Generally, these guys are hired for at least 14 days and probably for 3 months or longer.

Many sober companion companies have been set up to offer professional companionship services.

Can I be a sober companion?

Anyone can be a sober companion. The wealthy and high-powered individuals are willing to pay vast amounts of money for being supervised.

One of the downsides of being a sober companion is that you possibly would have to spend the entire day with a newly recovering addict. But some people find it hard to say no to being paid a 1000 $ a day for doing just that?

However, you need to know that being a sober companion can put your own sobriety at risk, so you need to be careful.

Overall, you can make good money being a sober companion. You may also save somebody's life. Maybe more than once.
