Chandrayaan-2: Our Proud Connection With The Lunar Mission

We congratulate the scientists at ISRO for the successful launch of Chandrayaan-2. This great scientific and engineering fete is a point of pride for every Indian, and Jaewoo is proud of its leaders’ connection with ISRO. Our COO Mr O. P. Batra & our CTO Mr Alok Soni have over 30 years of experience in developing and designing CNC machines. Our COO has spent 35 fruitful years working for HMT, one of the suppliers of CNC machines to ISRO. It was on an HMT CNC machine that those high precision parts were manufactured. As a part of the design team in HMT, they developed the latest technology that is now used in CNC machines.

Over the years, ISRO has been the shining example of Indian philosophy and Indian Sciences. Taking a page from the wisdom of our ancestors, ISRO has never competed with any agency other than itself. In its steady and determined growth, the space organization has helped develop Indian Engineering skills at large. Jaewoo follows the principle of evolution and not competition. It is the same philosophy that ISRO has followed. We want to develop the latest technology in the CNC market. However, we want to do so in the right manner, without getting hasty, and experimenting something new every day.

As a new CNC manufacturer in India, We count on the two stalwarts of CNC machining technology for their wisdom. Their vision and their expertise on these subject matters have helped us create better machines and provide better service to our customers. We have a long journey to traverse still and we are glad to have them as our guiding stars. We are confident that the day is not far when Jaewoo Machines will be the principle supplier of CNC machines to ISRO.
