Have you noticed any unusual change in your kid’s behavior recently? Is he not interested to eat or go social? You need to hold your breath and think again about it. This may be an early sign of stress among the little kids. It may sound unbelievable but many children nowadays are suffering from different stress, anxiety, and burnout that we initially overlook and think it as the mood swing among them.

Dr. Julio Licino, the famous psychologist who is working on this field for many years have come up with different ideology about it. Apart from working as the Senior Vice President for Academic and Health Affairs and Executive Dean in the College of Medicine in New York; he is researching on child psychology for many years.

The challenges of the kids of the modern generation are tough enough for them to keep them up the cutthroat competition to sustain. Dr. Julio Licino added that the expectation and pressure from the parents also play a key role in this negative vibe on those tender minds.

Here he has suggested some guidelines that will help your children to cope up with the anxiety, fear, and stress.

• Help them to cope up: We always want our children to be happy. But in reality, happiness is a span of time just like sadness and every span passes on with time. Without removing the reason for anxiety, show your kids how to cope up with them. When they will grow up they will find stress and anxiety in almost every sphere of life and when they are capable to deal it just like any other normal thing; the struggle will be very less for them.

• Make everything normal: According to Dr. Julio Licino, you don’t need to show much heed on your kid’s stress. Let him assure that you are aware of the situation but that should not be a reason to pause your daily work. Say them, “I know you are going through a tough time but we need to do this.”

• Set Positive Expectation: never set any unrealistic expectation from your child. Assure them that everything is going to be OK with time and they will learn as well excel in that skill soon.
