Ten Sahaba RA whom Prophet (SAW) predicted Jannah

In fact, the Jannah is the great reward for those who devoted their lives for Islam and followed the commandments of Allah (SWT) and His Rasool (SAW). Allah (SWT) sent nearly one lac forty thousand Messengers and Prophets according to Islamic theology. All of them gave one supreme message of Oneness of God “Tauheed” to their people. And those who followed them got eternal success while those who denied got the fire of hell.

The flow of Prophethood remained continued and sealed till Prophet Muhammad (SAW). In the starting, Prophet (SAW) faced severe enmity from the people of Quraysh but by the grace of Allah (SWT) gradually became strong in his faith. He started proselytizing of Islam from just small house of Al-Arqam furtively. The house was rendered by the Arqam (RA) who was early Muslim. House is still located near the Safa hill and is visited by pilgrims who go to the holy Kaabah through Hajj and Umrah packages in order to perform Hajj or Umrah.

This was the house that changed the fate of Islam because the great influential figure of Makkah known as Omar (RA) embraced Islam. After embracing Islam from Omar (RA) Muslim got strong supported and then instead of preaching Islam secretively, they discoursed openly. As a result, several people of Makkah entered Islam by finding true faith. On the contrary, Quraysh increased pressure on the followers of Islam which forced them to migrate from Makkah to Madina.

But the migration was proved best one as numbers of people embraced Islam by finding Prophet (SAW) savior of mankind. In this way, Makkan and Medinan Sahaba (companions) rendered their life for Islam. They showed sincerity, devotion and firm resolution in all expeditions as they did not love the physical world but eternal life.

Though all Sahaba showed great courage and sincerity and contributed as much as they had abilities, some Sahaba devoted their lives only for Islam and left their personal desires. Thus, Allah (SWT) gave the good news of confirmed Jannah for them through Angel Jibrael (AS) to the Prophet (SAW). Let’s see who ten Shaba they are:

1. Hazrat Abu Bakar (RA)
2. Hazrat Omar (RA)
3. Hazrat Ali (RA)
4. Hazrat Usman (RA)
5. Hazrat Talhah (RA)
6. Hazrat Zubair (RA)
7. Hazrat Sad bin Abi Waqqas (RA)
8. Hazrat Abdul Rahman bin Awf (RA)
9. Sa’id ibn Zayd (RA)
10. Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah

Though all the Sahaba will get the Jannah because of their strong faith in Monotheism, however, above-mentioned Sahaba were predicted confirmed Jannah. The reason behind was that the predicted Sahaba who confirmed Jannah not only participated in Battles but they were those who devoted their lives only for Islam. They left their homes and sacrificed their all personal desires. Their marks of devotions are enjoyed from home and away travel umrah until Kaabah.

However, it is our responsibility to carry on their mission of preaching Islam in the whole world. Certainly, Jannah is not easy getting but sacrifices have to render. We should follow the Sunnah of Shaba who led their lives pretty simple. We should not prefer the physical world as this is mortal. We should think about eternal life which could be succeeded by strictly following the Divine commandments.
