Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) is an international certification provided by Institute for Operations Research and Management Science (INFORMS). This certification is designed for candidates with experience in the field of business analytics. 

It validates a general understanding of the seven steps in analytic processing: identifying a company's problems, identifying analytic problems, acquiring data, choosing a methodology, developing a model, deploying it, and finally managing that model throughout of its life cycle.

Candidates must have a master's degree in a discipline related to analysis, and an analytical professional experience of at least three years, or a bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline and a professional experience of at least five years. , or seven years of experience in the field of analytics without the need for a degree. 

PGP in Big Data Analytics and Optimization (formerly CPEE)


This certification is issued by the International School of Engineering (INSOFE). This is an 18-week training offered in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, India. Candidates must attend a total of ten courses including lectures and practical work to learn to master Hadoop and Rtools.

These courses allow you to learn statistics, text and social media analysis, optimization, Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics. Candidates are assessed through an exam at the end of each module, daily quizzes and a realistic project. MCSE: Data Management and Analytics
This certification replaces the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Business Intelligence, which is no longer available since March 31, 2017. It prepares candidates for tasks such as Database Design, database analysis, and the business intelligence analysis. 

To qualify for this certification, candidates must have at least one of these MCSA certifications: SQL Server 2012/2014, SQL 2016 Database Administration, SQL 2016 Database Development, SQL 2016 BI Development, Machine Learning, BI Reporting, or Data Engineering with Azure. Candidates must also pass one of the 12 MCSE exams.

Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation 11g Certified Implementation Specialist
This certification validates Oracle Course Business Intelligence Suite data development and management skills.

To receive this certification, candidates must pass the Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation 11g Essentials exam with a score of at least 63%. The exam consists of 75 multiple choice questions and must be completed in two hours. Oracle does not require candidates to take specific preparation courses, but recommends completing the Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation 11g Course Implementation Specialist Course or the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Plus Boot Camp Implementation.
