The water inside the water floating mats can be heated to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of heat. The main disadvantage of this type of bed is the water itself. A slight puncture in the mattress can be a total mess. In addition to that, every time your partner moves you, the water wave will cause you to wake up from your deep sleep.

Air mattress - This type of bed are specifically designed for the purpose of providing comfort to your body. You can even adjust its firmness according to your choice. Air floating mats provide the same level of comfort as that of water floating mats. Most of the air floating mats come with option of latex or foam add-ons. The main disadvantage of air mattress is that it can hammock very easily which results in uncomfortable sleeping.
