Traveling Can Change Your Perspective Of Life

Posted by Emma Smith on August 16th, 2019

Traveling is life, I could get to this outcome very late but yes, I discovered that Traveling gives you a lot. Not only you make new friends, but you also discover the local cultures you might never expect to exist on earth. Bridging the cultures might give you a unique experience in life. My exposure to the things increased in my Morocco Solo travel, I’m having lifelong lessons and pleasant memories over my very first trip to Morocco. You may forget all the sorrows of life if once, you agree to come out all the comfort zones you have been living since so long. Come out, the world is waiting for you!

What Travel Can Do Else With You?

If you point out the lifelong effects of traveling, that is, the travel will change your view of the world and can help you with your already prevailing perspectives.

I Learned to Be Thankful for Be Blessed with Everything

Before my trip to Philipines, I was a changed person, although living a mediocre life living in the middle-class family, my life is much stable as I’ve seen people living in the small villages of Philippines. When I reached to Manila, the capital of Philipines, I found a taxi driver who had to drop me in a hotel from Ninoy Aquino International Airport Manila. He told me that he is running a taxi to earn the bread for his family of 10. He has his parents, wife, children to depend on him and they all are living in a small village of a town Cebu, which is near the coast.

He was a local journalist before this and the newspaper fired him on short of funds. He then started riding the passengers from the airport so he can take good tips from the foreigners who visit the Philippines as granted. Experiences like these halt me to realize where I’m standing right now.

People Around the World are Friendly, You Have to Understand

Only the circumstances, not human nature makes a difference, I learned. People around the world are very friendly and don’t hurt you anyway, this is only an urban and communal thought I acknowledge. People living in such dilemmas should come out of such mindset and traveling can make it possible I’m really sure about this.

When I was not in Marrakech, I listened about the prejudices the people of the outer world have on the internet, but when I crossed the barrier of internet and reached on the destination on the real-time, it was all very pleasant and everyone there was so friendly, cooperative and welcoming. The reception of the Moroccans inspired me as compared with the countries of better circumstances.

Nobody hurt me, they cared, welcomed me all along. You also need to experience this in life coming out of the already prevailing prejudices.

Communicating to the Strangers is Unique Experience You Must Have

Communicating with the people I didn’t new was a unique and new experience in my life. In my opinion now, if you are less talkative and get shy to talk to the people you think is of no use. You should try to travel to the strange destinations, meeting new people, either you have to talk with the gestures and smile, you will communicate yourself as per your need and believe me you’ll enjoy.

For us, the Urbans, this is something new. If you are thinking of how to talk to the strangers in a new destination, you may get a guide from googling the subject. But try once. For me, learning some expressions of Arabic, French and Basaya were interesting. Bisaya is a local language in some regions of Philippines use, or maybe the national language of the Philippines. Arabic is spoken in Marrakech, and the Arab belt including Yemen, UAE, Saudi Arabia.

Don’t Be Scared, Its all Pleasant

There is a certain fear in our minds that the place other than that we live in is a no go area. People living in that specific area belongs to Mars and they might hurt us. For being women, for me, there were so many hurdles in my own mind, and so have many reasons for not going out of the country alone. But you have to take initiative to break the ice.

The world is a happy place wants to come close, for me the borders are the useless idea to divide the masses, if, in my hands, I would erase all the borders and make the world one travel freely anywhere in the world, after the world is a global village, no? Come out and discover the places first that scars you the most, believe me, you will laugh on your fears after finding nothing which you have thought about a lot. Trust me, Get booked and fly to the places you think are scary and people are not so friendly.

Take the Opportunity to Discover Yourself

This is an opportunity to dig yourself out. That only can come if you be able to take yourself out of the comfort zones you are. This is your first success I believe. As said the most difficult fight is the fight to oneself. So as I fought with myself against being lazy, idle and with No attitude, I discovered a new “Me” and it is amazing to have such a new ‘Me’.

Now, when I go to the office, I work with more focus and consistency because I could learn this by many known and unknown elements there, travel is a therapy you can say, it can recharge you for the future recreational endeavours you could have in your life. Just get out of your homes, cross the borders and explore the world, how beautiful it is.
