What is Miqat for Umrah?

The general meaning of Miqat is a specified time or place. It is related to Ihram dress and it requires time and exact spot. These are the primary conditions of Ihram. You need to be careful when and where to make Niyyah start the Hajj and wear Hajj dress for worship Hajj to be valid. 2. Al Juhfah (Rabigh)

This Miqat place is situated 182km northwest of Mecca city. This is a place for the pilgrims who are coming from North America, Europe, Turkey, Syria, Egypt, Algeria, Sudan, and several other African countries.

3. Qarn al Manazil (Al Sayl)

This Miqat place is located 80km east of the blessed city of Makkah. This is a place for the pilgrims who are coming from Najd and other countries like the U.A.E, Oman, Pakistan, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore etc.

4. Dhat Irq

This Miqat place is located 90km northeast of Makkah. This is a place for the pilgrims who are coming from Iraq, Iran, China, Russia etc.

5. Yalamlam (Al Sadiah)

This Miqat place is located 100km south of Mecca. This is a place for the pilgrims who are coming from Yemen, South Africa, Nigeria etc.
