After the migration of Muslims from Makkah to Madinah, Islam was encouraged by the cooperation of Ansaar (people of Madinah). The efforts of Prophet (SAW) and Sahaba bore fruits and in no time Islam had great strength and power. Now Muslims were in a position that they could enter Makkah in order to perform pilgrimage as their opponents several times had defeated by the hands of the Muslim army.

Thus, Prophet (SAW) along with numbers of Sahaba (companions) set off towards Makkah but as they reached near the boundary of Makkah they were stopped by the Quraysh. Though Muslims were strong in power against Quraysh while Prophet (SAW) did not want bloodshed in the holy sanctuary of Makkah as this was considered the blessed place even today. Yet, whenever you get a chance of customized umrah package you will not allow killing even grasshopper otherwise you have to pay penalty as a matter of precaution.

From Quraysh Khalid Bin Waleed resisted Muslims and offered the Hudaibiya treaty which consisted of the following points:

• Muslim must come back to Medina and let come the next year for pilgrimage.
• Muslim would return the Makkan person if he joined the Muslim army.
• Quraysh would not return any person of Muslim army if he found in Makkah.
• Muslims would have to put off their swords in sheaths, on the contrary, Quraysh would not put off their swords in sheaths at Madinah entrance.

Though conditions were apparently against Muslims, however, Prophet (SAW) accepted them by finding a chance to spread Islam beyond the Arab Peninsula in a peaceful atmosphere. When the Sahaba were discussing the Hudaibiya treaty, meanwhile they saw a man entering the Muslim’s camp out the Makkah boundary. Yes, that was the man of Abu Jandal Ibn Suhayl (RA) who secretly embraced Islam and resultantly imprisoned in his house from his father. He was an early Makkan man who accepted Islam furtively but revealing the secret he was punished for several years until the time of the treaty of Hudaibiya.

Knowing, the camping of Muslims Abu Jandal let free from his brother and immediately went towards Muslims. He crossed the boundary of Makkah and joined Prophet (SAW) in his camp. At the reaction from Quraysh they demanded Abu Jandal treaty accordingly as there was clearly mentioned that if Makkan joined Muslim, he would be returned. Thus, Muslims were helpless regarding returning of Abu Jandal. The Messenger of Allah encouraged him to remain steadfast and advised him not to afraid of infidels but faith in his Lord with full of determination. Yet, Abu Jandal was returned to Quraysh and his father again behaved with harshness.

Treaty could not remain committed from Quraysh, thus Muslim army advanced to Makkah and eventually conquered Makkah without any bloodshed. Abu Jandal again joined Prophet Muhammad (SAW) without any fear because his father had also embraced Islam. Abu Jandal along with other companions led by Abu Baseer dwelled near the Jeddah coast called Ghufar both for trading and preaching Islam. Ghufar is a wonderful destination and is considered Word UNESCO Heritage place. If you have the desire to visit it then cheap December umrah packages 2020 will be the best experience.

Nevertheless, Abu Jandal left the Ghufar when his brother got martyrdom in the Battle of Al-Yamamah. Both Abu Jandal and his father mourned at the death of their brother as he was greatly loved by the whole family. Therefore, he learned the skills of a warrior from the Muslim army and participated in several expeditions. Though he had a great urge to get martyrdom but he died due to the plague of Emmaus in 18 AH or 639 CE.
