Paying Compensations To Farmers Through Mahanirmiti’s CSR Funds

Guardian Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar’s directive to pay compensationsthrough Mahanirmiti’s CSRto farmers in the vicinity of Chandrapur Super Power Thermal Station.

Due to the incessant rainfall in Chandrapur district,Irai dam’s 7 doors were opened and consequently, it resulted in the damage of many farms, houses, and domestic losses in the vicinity. Guardian Minister Mr Sudhir Mungantiwar has directed the Chief Engineer of the Chandrapur Super Power Thermal Station to avail immediate compensations to the affected people after the survey procedures through Power station’s CSR funds. 

Many villages surrounding Chandrapur Super Power Thermal Station were badly affected due to the increased water levels and opening of 7 gates of Irai dam. In fact, it resulted in the losses of farms, houses and cattle to a considerable extent. Guardian Minister has directed to conduct an immediate survey of these losses and to provide adequate compensations to the affected people through Mahanirmiti’s CSR funds.
